Artemis Tegan is a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. Artemis earned her Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University in 2001. Artemis is currently serving as Board President of the Long Beach-South Bay Chapter of the CA Association of Marriage & Family Therapists. In addition, Artemis developed an innovative workshop designed to help new therapists to launch their private practice. Artemis provides individual consultation for therapists looking to expand their practices.

Artemis has been working in the counseling field for 14 years serving diverse populations including families dealing with divorce & loss, individuals dealing with addiction & mood problems, couples struggling with relationship issues, adolescents and children having behavior problems and chronically mentally ill adults. Her specialty is reducing symptoms associated with trauma, including depression, anxiety, relationship problems and addiction issues. Currently, Artemis is completing work on her first book entitled I'm a Hero: A Trauma Recovery Workbook for Children.

Lisa Mitchell is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Registered Art Therapist. She has 20 years of experience and is very invested and excited about the transformative power of art. She is the founder of The Art Therapy Studio, located in Fair Oaks Village, near Sacramento, CA. Prior to opening The Art Therapy Studio, Lisa used art in her work with foster families, victims of domestic violence, those suffering from trauma and drug addiction, juvenile sex offenders.

Lisa’s desire to make art available to a wider variety of people inspired her to create a therapeutic studio environment that is infused with the invitation to create and express. In August, 2003, she opened The Art Therapy Studio. Lisa currently works with individuals, groups, parents, provides trainings and workshops, and has a monthly newsletter linked to her amazing website. She enjoys a creative, busy life with her husband, 3 children and a weimaraner.

Ellen Speert, Director of the California Center for Creative Renewal, is a Board Certified and Registered Art Therapist as well as a Registered Expressive Arts Therapist. She is a founding member and past president of the San Diego Art Therapy Association. Ellen designed, directed and taught the UCSD Extension Art Therapy and Expressive Arts Therapy Certificate Program. She is an internationally known writer and lecturer, teaching and presenting workshops in Switzerland, Germany, France, Canada, England and throughout the United States. Ms. Speert was the first United States representative to the Art Therapy International Networking Group. She has served as consultant in many clinical settings including UCSD Medical Center, San Diego Hospice and Grossmont Hospice.

Ellen has provided corporate retreats and trainings for many San Diego organizations including The Boys & Girls Clubs' picART, San Diego County Cal Works, A Reason to Survive, and Elizabeth Hospice. She has been in private practice in San Diego since 1981, providing creative renewal to adults, children and families. Her healing gardens have now become a retreat center for creativity, staff development and conflict resolution for communities and corporations throughout the San Diego area.

Bobbi Stoll is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Board Certified Art Therapist. She graduated from Immaculate Heart College's first master's level art therapy program; introduced art therapy in outpatient facilities throughout Los Angeles; chaired the 9th annual conference of the American Art Therapy Association in Los Angeles in 1978 and parlayed the event in challenging California's licensing Board for the first clinical license issued to an art therapy graduate which allowed art therapists to be eligible for the MFT license.

Bobbi was awarded Honorary Life Membership (HLM) in 1999 by AATA, the American Art Therapy Association. She received the 2002 Special Award for Art Therapy Profession & the International Networking Group of Art Therapists. She is a past president of AATA (1993-95). Representing the AATA, Bobbi spoke on art therapy at the 1993 Senate hearing on the Older Americans' Act Chaired by Senator Cohen.

Bobbi founded the International Networking Group of Art Therapists (ING/AT) in 1989 which now includes art therapists in over 85 countries. She travels worldwide presenting her expertise on art therapy.

Bobbi is a Certified Trauma Specialist (CTS) and Certified Traumatologist (CT). In her private practice, Bobbi specializes in treatment of Acute Stress Disorder and PTSD, and Critical Incident Stress Debriefings for business and industry.

Darcy Lubbers, MFT, ATR-BC is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Board Certified Art Therapist. Darcy uses a multifaceted approach with a focus on wellness through mind/body integration. She is the founder of Magic of Healing West which offers workshops in mind/body healing, preventive medicine and the expressive arts to the public, and for health professionals. She teaches a variety of workshops, which include The Magic of Healing, Creating Health, Primordial Sound Meditation, and the Art and Soul Workshop.

Darcy is a published author, psychotherapist, international workshop leader and innovator in the field of complementary medicine with over 20 years experience. She has received extensive training in the related modalities of Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Art Therapy, Clinical Hypnosis, Guided Imagery, Meditation, Structural Bodywork (Hellerwork), Yoga, Movement Awareness, and Mind Body Medicine, including Ayurvedic Healing Practices.

Darcy has a private practice in Santa Monica, CA. Darcy is also currently a consultant with Bridges to Recovery in Pacific Palisades, CA, where she implements an Art Therapy Program for individuals with Depression, Bipolar Illness and emotional trauma issues.

Andrea Shirley is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Registered Art Therapist. She graduated from Phillips Graduate Institute, Encino, California with an MA in psychology, school counseling and art therapy. She holds a PPS credential and works for the LAUSD (Los Angeles Unified School District). She is assigned to the Community Day School as a clinical intervention counselor. Andrea is also pursuing her Doctorate. She is an approved Soulcollage© facilitator. Andrea has completed the AAMFT and CAMFT approved supervisor training and has supervised many graduate and doctoral students

Andrea is strongly committed to the ideas of cultural diversity, integration, and spirituality. She enjoys working with women/women’s issues as well as children. She specializes in court ordered therapeutic monitored visits, court ordered therapy, and foster children who have been physically and sexually abused. Andrea also provides training in identifying psychological trauma in children, anger management, domestic violence and parenting. Andrea works with Victims of Crime, is a Medi-Cal provider and has a private practice in Los Angeles at the Howard Hughes Center.
